He is not using the one special weapon he has: his pace, just light jogging round last few games. Really should be hustling a lot more, but I think he knows Wenger won’t sell him now so he can ‘save himself’ for that 1 amazing chance Ozil will hook him up with instead of show some desire on the pitch and chase every half ball.

By: John https://paininthearsenal.com/2016/03/18/arsenal-theo-walcott-the-symbol-of-failed-era/#comment-1680 Fri, 18 Mar 2016 17:33:00 +0000 https://paininthearsenal.com/?p=41737#comment-1680 I agree with your article but I believe you missed another major failing – Wenger has a reputation of a great coach (even if that was a while ago) but Theo shows up that reputation as being utterly false – he has the same errors in his game that he had 10 years ago – no tricks to get past people, poor crossing, makes runs where it is impossible to be found, likes to run with defenders instead of into space, gets the full back behind him in terrible problems because he cant keep control of the ball, in important games he is a back passer and hides, poor body language and poor pass decisions. I am sure there are others but lastly if he and I were the same age and we played in the same sunday team I would not like his commitment to the cause.
