Arsenal produced a superb away performance at Stamford Bridge as they dominated Chelsea to the tune of a 1-0 win. A second-half Gabriel tap-in was enough to give the Gunners victory.
Mikel Arteta made one change from the side that thumped Nottingham Forest, with Oleksandr Zinchenko starting in place of Takehiro Tomiyasu. Otherwise, it was as you were.
The first half flew by as Arsenal dominated proceedings. Quick, slick ball movement from Mikel Arteta’s side had Chelsea chasing shadows at times. The only thing missing was a goal.
Gabriel Jesus came closest for Arsenal after a sweeping move ended with Gabriel Martinelli clipping in a beautiful ball for the Brazilian. The striker stretched but couldn’t get his header on target. For all of Arsenal’s dominance, the game was level at the break.

The Gunners maintained their superiority in the second half and were rewarded just after the hour as Gabriel poked home Bukayo Saka’s inswinging corner.
Arteta’s side looked the more likely to grab the game’s second goal and were comfortable in shutting out Chelsea at the other end of the pitch.
Chelsea 0-1 Arsenal: 3 talking points as Gunners rule the Bridge
You can’t say they didn’t deserve it. The game provided plenty of talking points; here they are.
1. Arsenal obliterate Chelsea at the Bridge
From the opening whistle, Arteta’s side was a class above Graham Potter’s outfit. In every aspect, they were second best, and Arsenal can consider themselves unlucky not to score two or three more.
It was an all-round performance from the Gunners as they had 14 shots to five and dominated possession. Stamford Bridge hasn’t always been a happy hunting ground, but it is becoming a nice trip for Arteta’s side.
Oh, how times have changed.

2. Gabriel Jesus’ scoring drought continues, but Brazilian impresses

3. William Saliba world-class yet again

The Frenchman was every bit the world-class defender we know him as now. He dealt with everything with aplomb, and such was his ease at which he controlled Chelsea’s attack; he even had a marauding run forward in the penalty box.
