Thomas Partey (DM) – 8.5/10 – Excellent in the first half as Arsenal’s midfield dominated proceedings. His supremacy both with and without the ball continued into the second period in what was a majestic performance from the Ghanaian.

Granit Xhaka (CM) – 6.5/10 – Helped Arsenal dominate the midfield battle early on and popped up now and then with a handy bit of work either with or without the ball.

Martin Odegaard (CM) – 5.5/10 – His squandered effort with 20 minutes remaining epitomised what was a rather underwhelming performance from the skipper.
