Arsenal will take on PSV in the next game of their Europa League quest at the Emirates Stadium.
Fresh off a rather nervy 1-0 win over Leeds United at the weekend, the Gunners will want a more ‘complete’ performance on Thursday night.
As for the visitors, they are coming off a 6-1 hammering of Utrecht and, in their last Europa League match, a 5-0 thumping of FC Zurich.
The game pits two of the better teams in the competition against each other, with neither losing a game so far.
Arsenal vs PSV: 3 things to look for in rescheduled Europa League clash
Here are three things to look for.
1. Arsenal’s response
Against Leeds, it was perhaps one of Mikel Arteta’s side’s worse performances. But as good teams do, they manage to secure all three points.
If the Gunners perform as they did at Elland Road on Sunday, a loss is sure to follow. We want to see what kind of response the team has to one of its worse days in the league so far. PSV are on a four-game winning streak, so it won’t be easy.

2. Can Eddie keep scoring?

If there has been a player who has taken advantage of Arsenal’s involvement in Europe this season, it’s Eddie Nketiah.

3. Can Arsenal maintain their undefeated status?

Something has to give on Thursday night. Arsenal and PSV haven’t lost in the Europa League, with the visitors drawing one game. The Gunners have won all three of their matches so far.

Who will register their first loss in the competition? PSV are in better form, having scored 11 goals in their last two games in all competitions. But Arsenal are at home and, for many, have the stronger side.

Which way will this tilt? Should Arsenal win, it would all but win them the group. Lose, and the chasing pack gets ever closer.
<!—pageview_candidate—>">
