Saka (RW) 6.5 – Tried his best to manufacture something for his side but was often double and triple-teamed. Like many others, a quiet day.
Jesus (ST) 6.5 – The Brazilian was industrious as usual but had no real impact on the game.
Trossard (LW) 6.5 – Another player on the outer for most of the game. Struggled to make any impact.

The second half followed a similar pattern as the first, Arsenal dominated possession but did zero with it.
The team looked to have run out of petrol tickets against Brighton and against Forest, there was nothing to suggest otherwise as the Gunners have simply stalled.

The half didn’t hit any real heights despite Arsenal controlling possession as their season is ending in a brutal way as Manchester City are now confirmed Premier League champions again.

Player ratings vs. Forest.

Goalkeepers & Defenders

Ramsdale (GK) 6.5 – Didn’t really have much to do in the game bar pick the ball out of his net. Made the odd save.

Partey (RB) 6.0 – At right back, as Arteta wanted Partey to play an inverted role. Was solid defensively but offered nothing going the other way.

Gabriel (CB) 6.5 – Good outing from the Brazilian, and it was unfortunate that his clearance deflected off Awoniyi for Forest’s goal.

White (CB) 6.5 – Comfortable at the heart of defense, largely in part due to him having nothing to do.

Kiwior (LB) 5.0 – Deployed at left back in an odd decision and failed to make any impact on the game, through no fault of his own as Arsenal consistently went down the right-hand side.

Midfielders

Jorginho (CM) 6.5 – Busy as always in midfield but struggled to impact the game. Lots of touches for not much production.

Xhaka (CM) 5.5 – Pretty much anonymous as he was barely sighted in midfield in an odd outing.

Odegaard (CM) 6.0 – The Gunners captain tried to unlock Forest’s defense but was thwarted on each occasion. Like many of his teammates, a very quiet day.

Substitutes

Tierney 6.0 – Came on for Kiwior and at least made some bursting runs down the left-hand side.

Nketiah 6.0 – Was thrust up forward to try and create something for his team, but it didn’t eventuate.

Vieira 6.0 – Brought on for some minutes late in the second half, didn’t impact the game at all.
<!—pageview_candidate—>">
