Forwards

Fabio Vieira (RW) – 5/10 – It once again didn’t click for Vieira. While I don’t think being deployed wide right is the best utilisation of him, the playmaker got himself in some excellent positions but failed to take advantage.

Eddie Nketiah (ST) – 7.5/10 – Perhaps emboldened by wearing the armband, Nketiah produced his best performance of the summer so far. The striker tapped home Arsenal’s equaliser and constantly sought to make himself a nuisance without the ball. Worked hard, and got himself out of some tight spots.

Gabriel Martinelli (LW) – 6.5/10 – His defensive work for Monaco’s opener was shoddy, but Martinelli often got the Emirates faithful on their feet when he got on the ball.
