Was a shaky parry early on, but this was a pretty serene Ramsdale performance, overall.</p> <p><strong>Thomas Partey (RB) – 6.5/10 –</strong> Palace’s compactness meant he performed a more typical right-back function, and he looked pretty comfortable (apart from when Eberechi Eze drifted over to his flank).</p> <p><strong>Ben White (CB) – 7.5/10 –</strong> A quiet outing until Tomiyasu’s red card. White, like the rest of the Arsenal defence, did an excellent job of limiting the number of big chances created by Palace.</p> <p><strong>William Saliba (CB) – 8/10 –</strong> Loose touch which led to an excellent recovery challenge aside, Saliba was imperious once more. Rice was supreme on Monday night, particularly in the opening period. The midfielder escaped pressure superbly in the build-up, while his pass selection and execution were spot-on throughout. His contributions in the final third were also useful.</p> <p><strong>Martin Odegaard (CM) – 6.5/10 –</strong> So cool from the spot. His work to win the penalty was clever, and he was strong between the lines throughout; offering an outlet when his side were reduced to ten.</p> <p><strong>Gabriel Martinelli (LW) – 5/10 –</strong> Spritely, but hesitant in the final third.
