In reply to Jay Salhi. Accurate. Campbell is just a more dependable player than Theo presently. His defensive work combined with his knack for making some beautiful passes... I'd start him over Walcott on the wing against top opponents.

I don’t have a quarrel with the overall scores; particularly if they were for the second half. Frankly, the team looked insipid for the first 45 minutes. Luck conspired to make them look better than they were.
My takeaways include: Gibbs can be a starter; Elneny while being plucky is no deep lying midfielder; Flamini can delight or destruct on any given day – in this case he delighted; Joel Campbell outperforms his counterparts; Theo can be the star or a misfit – he was the tale of two halves; Giroud is the only offensive player of durable tenacity; and Aaron Ramsey is on a negative trajectory.
I was pleased with the result but not the performance of the team.

Walcott’s rating is a tough one. Two goals and an assist mean he deserves a high rating. But he was horrible in the first half and generally not involved in the game (other than those 3 instances). Why does Campbell on the opposite wing seem so more involved in the game at both ends of the pitch than Theo?

Sadly, the big story of this game is injuries. Good performance. Bad luck.
