In reply to Jay Salhi. Tough question. Given Wenger's mind games, he'll probably start Welbeck, but I'm reluctant to see Welbeck used in wide roles. He needs to be a striker. I would rather see Campbell over Walcott. At least Campbell has proven to be multi-dimensional.

In reply to Jay Salhi. The miss was a borderline criminal offense, but his effort was there and he was actually relevant to the game, unlike Theo Walcott, who replaced him.

Your description of Ox’s performance is too kind. He was OK defensively but did nothing going forward. Not just the miss (which was a really, really feeble effort) but on the break where he got injured he took heavy a touch. If he has his head up looking to get the ball to runners in the box, that doesn’t happen. But Ox always looks to dribble past people and never sees his teammates making runs. Another 2 v. 2 he tried to dribble past 2 defenders instead of playing Ozil on the wing and then making a run for the return pass. He also got caught off sides a few times for no reason other than not paying attention. His injury had no impact on the outcome of the game.
