2. Arsenal are back where they belong

Having almost taken European football for granted in the Arsene Wenger era, the fact that Arsenal had been out of the Champions League for six years was unacceptable.

Now, with Mikel Arteta driving the bus, the club is back to where it belongs. Those European nights at the Emirates hit differently, and this one was extra special.

It was the club’s first UCL game in 2,388 days, and everyone made sure to soak it in. We have gotten back to where we belong; now, the trick is to stay there.
