2. Arsenal are back where they belong
Having almost taken European football for granted in the Arsene Wenger era, the fact that Arsenal had been out of the Champions League for six years was unacceptable.
Now, with Mikel Arteta driving the bus, the club is back to where it belongs. Those European nights at the Emirates hit differently, and this one was extra special.
It was the club’s first UCL game in 2,388 days, and everyone made sure to soak it in. We have gotten back to where we belong; now, the trick is to stay there.

<p>It feels like forever since our No. 9 has gotten a decent run in the side, and when in full flight, <a title="Arsenal 4-0 PSV: Player ratings as Gunners dazzle on UCL return" href=https://paininthearsenal.com/2023/09/21/arsenal-4-0-psv-talking-points/2/"https://paininthearsenal.com/2023/09/20/arsenal-4-0-psv-player-ratings/" rel="">as we saw against PSV</a>, he is breathtaking.</p>
<p>Gabby got his goal that showed off his sublime touch before hammering home Arsenal’s advantage. His goal effectively ended the game as a contest.</p>
